How to use Prescription Audio Therapy for Maximum Results
Get Maximum Results from Prescription Audio Therapy
There are important things to remember in order to get the very most from your Prescription Audio experience:
-
To achieve the desired states of deep relaxation, find a time when you can devote at least half an hour or more to yourself--without the potential for life's routine interruptions
-
Find a quiet, secluded place, close the doors, and turn off anything that could disturb you: telephone and cell phone ringers, television and radio.
-
You may want to dim overhead lighting.
-
It is recommended that you use stereo headphones. If your environment includes noise that cannot be eliminated, sound-blocking headphones may be very helpful. Note: some people have found that using headphones for sleep-related products like Nocturne may be distracting later in their sleep. As an alternative, you may want to use small headphones near your bed with these programs.
-
Start your session by concentrating on slowing your breathing. The best way to do this is to breathe in to a slow count of seven and exhale to a slow count to six. Repeat your counting of breaths until you feel a sense of relaxation.
- Remember - These sessions are programs for life. While you will feel immediate relaxation with the first use, expect to use the program daily for a minimum of two weeks before noticing changes in your reaction to stress.
